This Privacy Policy explains how AI beauty Clock (the “App”) handles information when you use the App, its Premium features, advertising, support, and the related privacy, terms, and support pages.
1. Controller and contact
The operator and data controller is:
- Operator: Tatsuya Asano
- Country: Japan
- Email: i.ogami.0103@gmail.com
- Support page: https://iogami0103.github.io/ai-beauty-clock-support/
Please do not email passwords, full store receipts or purchase tokens, payment-card details, or other sensitive information. We may ask for limited information needed to locate a purchase or support request, but we will not ask for your store password or complete payment-card number.
2. Information handled by the App
The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name, postal address, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, health information, or payment-card details.
The following information may nevertheless be handled:
Information stored on your device
- Your selected clock font and other display settings.
- A local Premium-status cache and the expiry time of a short-lived, server-verified entitlement. A local setting by itself does not authorize Premium content.
- Downloaded image catalogs, Premium image packs, verified image files, and a last-known-good content snapshot used for offline display, widgets, or Android wallpaper.
- Advertising-consent choices and related SDK settings stored by Google UMP or the operating system.
This information remains on your device unless a service described below needs it. It can generally be removed by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App. Store ownership records remain with Apple or Google.
Purchase and entitlement information
When you buy or restore Premium, Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing supplies the App with store-provided verification data. The App sends the following to our purchase-verification service over HTTPS:
- Platform (
app_storeorgoogle_play). - Premium product identifier.
- Store transaction or purchase identifier.
- The verification data needed to confirm ownership, status, environment, revocation, or refund: an Apple-signed transaction for App Store purchases, or a Google Play purchase token for Google Play purchases.
The verification service runs on Google Cloud Run. It verifies Apple transactions using Apple’s signed-transaction verification materials and verifies Google Play purchases through the Google Play Developer API. It returns a signed Premium entitlement that expires within 24 hours. The App presents that short-lived entitlement to the Cloudflare content service to obtain Premium catalogs and image packs.
We do not receive your complete payment-card number. Apple and Google process payment and store-account information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Advertising and consent information
The free version uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Depending on your platform, region, consent choices, device settings, and Google’s configuration, Google may process:
- IP address and general location derived from it.
- Device, app, and advertising identifiers where permitted.
- App interactions, ad impressions, clicks, and consent choices.
- Device, network, diagnostics, and fraud-prevention information.
UMP requests or records consent and opt-out choices where required. If Google reports that privacy options must remain available, the App provides a Privacy options entry in its menu.
On iOS, the App requests only non-personalized ads and disables Google’s publisher first-party identifier. The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, does not use IDFA in its ad requests, and does not include an NSUserTrackingUsageDescription prompt. Apple SKAdNetwork may provide privacy-preserving, aggregated advertising measurement without IDFA.
On Android, the type of ad Google may serve follows applicable consent choices, device or account advertising settings, and Google’s rules. In some regions this may include personalized advertising if permitted and selected. Where applicable, UMP provides choices concerning personalized advertising and “sale” or “sharing” under relevant U.S. state laws.
After Premium is verified, the App stops requesting ads and disposes of ads it has already loaded. This does not retroactively delete advertising records already processed by Google.
Content-delivery and technical information
The App retrieves protected Premium catalogs and image packs through a Cloudflare Worker. Google Drive is the origin storage for those files. The App is given Cloudflare URLs, not Google Drive file identifiers.
The Cloudflare service receives the short-lived entitlement to authorize and proxy the requested content. It does not need to forward the entitlement to Google Drive. Cloudflare and Google may process ordinary infrastructure information, such as IP address, request time, requested path, response status, user agent, network details, and security signals, under their own policies and configured retention settings.
The App verifies catalog structure, file size, and SHA-256 hashes before using downloaded content. The people displayed in the App are AI-generated and are not intended to represent real individuals. The App does not upload your photos to generate or select these images.
Support communications
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, name, message, device or app details, transaction reference, and attachments. Support email is handled through Google’s Gmail service. Please send only information needed to resolve your request.
When you visit the privacy or support pages, GitHub Pages may process standard web request and security-log information. Cloudflare may process the same type of information when you visit the Terms page or use protected content-delivery endpoints.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use the information described above only as needed to:
- Display the clock, remember settings, provide offline behavior, widgets, and Android wallpaper.
- Complete, restore, verify, and protect Premium purchases.
- Authorize and securely deliver Premium image content.
- Display ads in the free version, obtain required consent, manage advertising choices, measure ad performance, and prevent abuse or fraud.
- Diagnose failures, maintain security, enforce content integrity, and operate the service.
- Respond to support, privacy, refund-routing, and legal inquiries.
- Meet accounting, tax, store, regulatory, and other legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract for purchase verification and requested features; consent for advertising or similar processing where required; legitimate interests in service security, fraud prevention, basic operations, and support; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw or change advertising consent through the UMP Privacy options entry when it is shown and through relevant device or account settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed.
4. Service providers and disclosure
We do not sell personal information for money. We disclose or make information available only as needed to the following providers or when required by law:
| Provider | Role |
|---|---|
| Apple | App Store distribution, StoreKit purchase and restoration, transaction verification, and SKAdNetwork measurement |
| Google Play purchase and restoration, AdMob advertising, UMP consent management, Gmail support, Google Cloud Run purchase verification, and Google Drive content storage | |
| Cloudflare | Protected content delivery, Terms hosting, traffic security, and network processing |
| GitHub | Hosting the public privacy and support pages |
Advertising processing may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some laws even when no money is paid for personal information. Where applicable, the App’s UMP flow and Google/device privacy controls provide the corresponding choices.
We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the service, investigate fraud or security incidents, establish or defend legal claims, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.
Provider policies and controls:
5. Retention and deletion
- On-device data: Settings, catalogs, and downloaded images remain until the App replaces or evicts them, you clear App data, or you uninstall the App. A server-verified entitlement expires within 24 hours and must be verified again through the store.
- Purchase verification: Apple-signed transactions and Google Play purchase tokens are processed for verification and are not intended to be written to our application logs. Operational verification records are limited to a hashed transaction identifier, store, result, and time, and are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security, operations, disputes, or legal obligations.
- Support: Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, prevent fraud, comply with law, or establish or defend legal claims, after which they are deleted or anonymized where practical.
- Store and financial records: Apple and Google retain store records under their policies. We may retain store reports or transaction-related accounting records for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, refund, or dispute rules.
- Provider logs: Cloudflare, Google, GitHub, Apple, and their subprocessors retain infrastructure, advertising, consent, store, and security data according to their own policies and settings.
You can delete local App data by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling it. To request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of information controlled by us, email i.ogami.0103@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request and may retain information that law requires us to keep. For payment, store-account, or advertising data controlled by Apple or Google, use that provider’s account and privacy controls.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of personal information, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. You will not be discriminated against for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Available controls include:
- Reopen UMP Privacy options from the App menu when that entry is required and available.
- Change advertising or privacy settings in your Apple or Google account and device settings.
- Buy Premium to stop future ad requests from the App.
- Clear local data or uninstall the App.
- Contact us regarding support information or information controlled by the operator.
Because the App has no user account, we may hold little or no information that can be associated with you without a transaction reference or support email. Do not send a full receipt or purchase token unless we specifically explain a secure and necessary method.
7. International processing
The operator is in Japan. The providers listed above may process information in Japan, the United States, and other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from those in your country. The providers describe their processing locations and any applicable international-transfer safeguards in their privacy policies and related terms linked above.
8. Security
We use measures designed to protect information and paid content, including HTTPS, server-side store verification, signature and expiry checks, short-lived entitlements, restricted server secrets, entitlement-gated Worker delivery that does not expose origin identifiers in the App, and file-integrity verification. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The App is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. Where local law requires parental consent for a minor’s advertising or other data processing, a parent or guardian should supervise the applicable consent and device settings. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. We will publish the revised policy and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your choices, we will provide additional notice in the App or store listing where reasonably appropriate.
